Notepad ..oh i forgot ++

In my last post i have mentioned launchy, a replacement for windows default program laucher ....In this one i am trying to introduce you Notepad++ a really cool replacement for default windows notepad and source code editor.




Here are some features of Notepad++ :

1. Syntax Highlighting and Syntax Folding
   
2. Auto-completion
   
3. Multi-Document
   
4. Multi-View
   
5. Zoom in and zoom out
   
6. Multi-Language environment supported
   
7. Bookmark
   

You can even replace default notepad with the new '++' ...

Ever used Launchy?

"Launchy" is a substitute for the "Run"(Ctrl+R) command in windows which launches applications on the fly.Being much easy to use it has replaced my "Ctrl+ R" with "Alt+ spacebar".
Wait!!! you can do much more with it other than simply "launching" applications ...like

• Search Google (by simply typing 'Google', your 'search word' and pressing 'Enter')
• Search other sites like wikipedia, yahoo, MSN, imdb
• Browse your system (type c:, then tab, then a folder or file, hit tab, and continue)
• Calculate (just type and launchy will calculate it for you!)

• Run Custom commands

Your bookmarks on both firefox and ie will be loaded automatically once launchy is installed.

Lots of advanced options are there like

1. Adding frequently used directories
2. Adding frequently used image types

and much more .... once you get used you can delve into advanced options.
